Detara is a photo enhancer/restorer app by Green Parrot Studio. Your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We do not require an account and we do not sell your data.
Photos you pick or capture are processed locally on your device to enhance, upscale, colorize or restore them. Results are saved only to the location you choose (your gallery) or shared only when you tap share. Your images are never transmitted to our servers.
The optional Colorize and Face Pro packs download model files (not your photos) once from
our public repository on GitHub (greenparrotstudio/detara-models). Each file is
integrity-checked (SHA-256) before use. As with any download, the host (GitHub) may keep
standard server logs such as IP address; we do not receive your photos or personal data from
this.
If the app shows ads, they are provided by a third-party ad network (such as Google AdMob). To serve and measure ads, that provider may collect device and usage information, including an advertising identifier, under its own privacy policy. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. See Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
The app does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Internet access is used only to download optional model packs (and to serve ads, if enabled). Saving and sharing photos use Android's scoped storage; no broad storage permission is requested.
Detara is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
You can remove any downloaded AI pack from the AI Packs screen at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all downloaded packs and locally stored data.
Detara edits photos automatically and results can vary — some images may come out imperfect, altered or not as expected. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and its results are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and Green Parrot Studio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from edited, saved or shared images. Please keep your original photos.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
