Cutaro (“the app”) is developed by GreenParrot Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: your photos never leave your device — we cannot see them, and we never upload, store, or share them. The only data collection in the app comes from the single banner ad described below, and it never includes your photos or anything derived from them.
Do you collect or see my photos? No — never, under any circumstance. All editing happens on your device only. Do you require an account or login? No. Is there anything to delete? No — we don't store your photos or any personal profile about you anywhere, so there's nothing on our end to hold or remove. The one technical detail below (an anonymous advertising ID used for the banner ad) is controlled entirely by your device's own settings, not by us — see “Data we collect” for how to reset it.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information ourselves, and the app has no account or sign-in. Cutaro shows one banner ad, served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure that ad, Google's SDK may collect your advertising ID and other technical data (such as approximate location derived from IP address) and share it with Google and its advertising partners, under Google's Privacy Policy. This advertising ID is an anonymous, resettable number tied to your device — it is not a name, email, or photo, and it is not linked by us to anything you edit in the app. You can reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device's Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Ads (Android) or Google Settings ▸ Ads. Because we never store this ID ourselves (it passes through to Google in real time), there is nothing on our servers for us to delete on your behalf — resetting it on your device is the equivalent action and takes effect immediately.
All image processing — including automatic background removal and manual editing — happens entirely on your device. The photos you open are selected by you through Android’s system photo picker and are processed locally. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. Images you save are written only to your device’s gallery, and images you share are sent only to the app you choose via Android’s share sheet.
All photo processing (background removal and editing) happens fully offline, on your device. The app uses the internet for two things only: a one-time download of Google's on-device machine-learning model (ML Kit Subject Segmentation) via Google Play services, and loading the banner ad described above. No images or personal data are ever sent during either process.
Cutaro uses the Android Photo Picker, which does not require broad storage permissions. The app accesses only the specific photos you choose.
Cutaro is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
